The Heema Memorial
Trust (HMT) for community development is an autonomous, non-governmental and
non-profit making Organisation. It was established in memory of late mother
Heema Gautam on 11th January 1997 and registered under Nepal Organisation Act 34
(section 4) in Gulmi district on 2nd January 1998 bearing recognition no.13 HMT
does not receive any budget and support from HMG (His Majesty's Government of)
Nepal. It is funded entirely by donations from individual contributers,
charities/ Organisations, Trusts and donations from people around the world. The
Trust intends to achieve its goals through mutual co-operation of other GO'S
(Government organisations), NGO's and charities with active involvement of local
community.
